U.S. Navy
I have been in the Navy for approximately 25 years. I came into the Navy as an Ensign and rose to the senior rank of Navy Captain. All of this time was spent as a Naval Public Affairs Officer. When I left the Naval Reserves, I commanded a unit that conducted media training for newly promoted Admirals.

  • Training was designed to familiarize senior officers with all media interview formats (TV, Radio, Print, etc.)
  • Lectured at the US Naval Academy

Biola University
For a number of years I was a guest lecturer on the subject of starting a new company at Biola’s School of Business. Subject matter included research, business plan preparation, funding options, proformas and management techniques.

Book
In collaboration with another author, I am writing a book on the subject of e-commerce -"The Art and Science of e-Commerce". The focus is on lessons learned with real-life examples of what has worked and what hasn’t.
